Chrysler Academy 2.0 Project Acknowledged as Superior Learning Management System

SALINE, Mich. - Latitude Learning, provider of the industry leading open-source learning management system (LMS) LatitudeLearning.com and the Chrysler Group, one of the world's leading automotive companies, today announced they are bronze award winners for Best Use of Web 2.0 Tools for Learning from Brandon Hall Research. The award was presented at Brandon Hall's DevLearn | 10 conference.

Latitude Learning designed and launched Chrysler Academy 2.0 on behalf of the Chrysler Group. The CA 2.0 LMS leverages Web 2.0 tools such as RSS feeds, audio and video Webcasts, blogs, forums and peer-to-peer networking to educate and create social capital. The LMS scales to support more than 300,000 users, so it can continue to service the growing global community of Chrysler employees, dealers and suppliers.
