LATRELLE'S CELEBRATES GRAND OPENINGS OF PEET'S COFFEE AND STUMPTOWN COFFEE ROASTERS IN PDX
Award-Winning Restaurateurs Open Two of Six New Restaurants Planned for PDX
PORTLAND, OREGON, July 7, 2016 (Newswire.com) - LaTrelle’s is celebrating the grand openings of a new Peet’s Coffee restaurant and a Stumptown Coffee Roasters inside Portland International Airport (PDX) this holiday weekend. A family-owned and operated company, LaTrelle’s was recently selected by PDX to open six new restaurants at PDX, giving the company a presence in every terminal, and providing more than 80 new jobs for area residents.
The new Peet’s Coffee is located in Concourse D, and the Stumptown Coffee Café is located in the South Concourse Lobby of PDX. Ribbon cuttings for both restaurants were celebrated the evening of June 30th and attended by a host of dignitaries, including: Eric Lauterbach, President of the Consumer Division of Peet's Coffee; Erica Brown, Vice President of Peet’s Foodservice, Office Coffee, and Licensing; Joth Ricci, President of Stumptown Coffee Roasters; Matt Lounsbury, Stumptown’s Vice President of Wholesale and Retail; and Kenneth and Wally James, LaTrelle’s CFO and COO, respectively. The official grand openings were held the following morning, July 1st, at 4:30 a.m., just in time to provide PDX’s thousands of early morning travelers and airport employees with the world’s freshest gourmet coffee and delicious artisanal pastries.

Launched in Portland in 1999, Stumptown Coffee Cafés now have locations throughout the US, including LA, NY and Seattle. Stumptown is credited with refining coffee drinker’s palates by bringing customers only the finest beans from direct-trade farmers, with which the company has longstanding personal relationships.
Peet’s is known for its specialty gourmet coffee derived from artisan processes, such as hand-roasting beans in small batches. In 2007, LaTrelle’s was the first restaurateur to open a Peet’s Coffee in Texas, and its overwhelming success has led the company to introduce the brand to several airports, including William P. Hobby Airport, Houston Intercontinental Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and PDX.
In addition to providing customers with rich and rewarding coffee experiences, both Peet’s and Stumptown will feature fresh pastries, healthy snacks and an array of coffee-themed gifts. All Peet’s and Stumptown locations will be open daily from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.
