Launch Of Miles & More MemberScout 2.0 For BlackBerry®

Location-based and interest-based social networking application now also available for BlackBerry®

Mainz, Germany and New York, USA, April 15, 2010: Mobile social solutions provider match2blue announced today the launch of the air travel industry's first location-, time- and interest-based social networking application Miles & More MemberScout for BlackBerry®. The smartphone application, already available for the iPhone® since March and designed to meet the requirements of frequent flyers, was created by German-American enterprise match2blue for Miles & More, Europe's leading frequent flyer program Miles & More MemberScout offers frequent flyers a multifunctional community tool with which members can connect, engage with each other and get useful information, according to the principle: "Share your knowledge."

With the help of MemberScout's 'Scout Around' function, users can locate other nearby frequent flyers and get in touch with each other via the internal messaging function. Information requests like "Where can I have the best Sushi in New York?" can be transmitted and also answered immediately by other frequent flyers thanks to MemberScout's real time technology. Another useful tool is an information window at the end of the display providing information about news, friend requests or offers from local stores or other Miles & More partners.
