Le Meridien Amman Celebrates the Holy Month of Ramadan with its Associates

Online, August 23, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Le Meridien Amman, a subsidiary of Starwood Hotels and Resorts, gathered its 400 associates from all divisions and departments over its annual Iftar at the Royal Convention Centre, the biggest hall in Amman which accommodates up to 1,000 persons.

The newly appointed General Manager; Mr. Giuseppe Ressa and the Executive Assistant Manager; Mr. Daniel van der Heijden welcomed the associates to the Iftar celebration, which offered an authentic Arabian experience with an exquisite oriental buffet and Fouad Rakan and Layali Al Helmieh band, with traditional tarab songs, an entertainment that stretched well into the night.

Commentating on this occasion Ms. Rania Srouji, the Human Resources Manager said: "This gathering has a special significance, as it brings the associates of Le Meridien Amman as one family to enjoy a meal during the holy month of Ramadan, a time to express gratitude, offer kindness, utter blessings, and demonstrate amity".
