For 2015, the executives at GLS selected the Director of Innovation and Technology, D’An Ervin, as the translation agency’s employee of the year.

Ms. Ervin was chosen as employee of the year because she embodies the spirit of the core values at GLS: innovation, teamwork, and integrity. In 2015, she led the development and roll-out of several technology and client service projects, processes, and improvements. Most notably, she spearheaded the development of an internal ticketing system to support various branches of the project management process. The proprietary system operates within a leading cloud-based platform and, since its release, the system has resulted in the processing, tracking, and fulfillment of more than 10,000 tickets.
