Now that people are settling back into work after the holidays, many are wondering, "Where did that relaxed feeling go and what happened to all those creative ideas that were pouring out of me?"
On Thursday, January 20 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pacific, PR expert Lisa Elia will host physical therapist Chantal Donnelly and expressionist painter Amadea Bailey on a no-cost call titled "How to Have a Vacation Mindset Every Day and Fuel Your Creative Fire." On this call, Bailey and Donnelly will share how they live in a vacation mindset every day and keep their creative fires burning.
Participants will learn how to:
• establish greater autonomy in the workplace, even when you're the boss;
• create relaxation activities and plan them into your day;
• change your relationship with time;
• understand the importance of keeping your body fine tuned and clear and how this impacts you as a creative being;
• gain awareness of your "Creative Maintenance Requirements";
• and more.
"Entrepreneurs can get burned out and lose touch with their creativity," says Elia, a PR expert with over 20 years in her field. "On this call, people will learn simple steps they can take to set themselves up for a more fulfilling work experience and keep their creative juices flowing."
Donnelly, who brings her physical therapy know-how to many through her DVDs "Strong Knees" and "Pain Free at Work," says, "Time pressure and overwhelm zap us of energy and creativity. Finding ways to create a state of relaxation is crucial to avoid stagnation." On the call, she will share the methods she uses to avoid time pressure in order to work at her highest level and best serve her clients.
"Taking the time daily to maintain a sharp and clear mind, a fit resilient body and an open attitude and spirit are all crucial elements in the creative process," says Bailey, whose expressionist paintings are favorites of actress Halle Berry and have been exhibited nationally and internationally and featured in television, films and commercials. On the call Bailey will share how she maintains balance and fosters excitement and adventure in her work.
