LearningOnline.xyz Gives Desperately Needed Online Education to Nonprofit and Educational Charity Organizations
CUPERTINO, Calif., June 25, 2019 (Newswire.com) - LearningOnline.xyz, an eLearning social enterprise headquartered in Cupertino, California, has donated over 160,000 online courses to less fortunate and impoverished people through a network of nonprofit and educational partners worldwide.
Nelson Mandela, a former president of South Africa and noble peace prize winner, recognized the importance of education as a driver to effect change and bring equality of opportunity to the world.
He was once quoted as saying: “Education is the great engine of personal development. It is through education that the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor, that the son of a mineworker can become the head of the mine, that a child of farm workers can become the president of a great nation. It is what we make out of what we have, not what we are given, that separates one person from another.”
Education is the backbone of a successful society. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights guarantees free and quality education for all so that they are able to meet their basic needs and necessities. Having basic education means to be able to find employment, read the label on a medication bottle, have more control of social situations, pollute less or eradicate cruelty to animals.
Unfortunately, education for all remains a distant reality, and many children and adults around the world still do not have access to basic education. The United Nations estimates that there are 262 million children and young adults around the world that do not have access to any education. The World Bank states that two billion working-age adults around the world do not have the basic literacy skills required by employers.
As the impoverished struggle to find food, shelter and healthcare, education makes for less of a priority and changing the social infrastructure becomes an enormous task.
LearningOnline.xyz, an eLearning enterprise headquartered in Cupertino, CA has dedicated its resources and manpower to create purpose-driven learning solutions to help the world’s underprivileged to improve their lives and circumstances through the power of education.
Ivan Vassiliev, CEO of LearningOnline.xyz said: “Using the proven concept of shared prosperity, we created Cudoo.com as a learning portal that connects learners from around the world with less-fortunate and impoverished people who cannot afford access to education. For every course purchased on Cudoo, we donate free access to non-profit organizations, public and private libraries and schools around the world to ensure that the learning resources are given to the people who most need them.”
Evolvin Women, a socially responsible platform for sourcing female talents in hospitality, is one of the first non-profit organizations to register with LearningOnline.xyz to receive free access to the Cudoo.com course library. Seventeen women from Ghana received free access to LearningOnline.xyz’s Cudoo.com online learning platform to learn new skills and enter the hospitality jobs market.
Brenda Eleblu, one of the recipients from Ghana says: “Thank you so much, Cudoo, because I learned to become an active listener and that has boosted my communication skills and increased my self-esteem. I am no longer worried about how to deal with conflict, thanks to the conflict resolution course I took.”
Yayasan Usaha Mulia (YUM) from Indonesia, Develop Africa, Wiser and SmartLife are some of the other nonprofit partner organizations that have free access to the Cudoo.com course library offering of 160+ online language courses and over 800 professional development and soft skills courses.
“Any non-profit organization, school, public or private library can contact us or visit https://learningonline.xyz/nonprofits to register and receive free access to the Cudoo.com online course library. The access is also free to the staff and volunteers of partner non-profit organizations that are registered with us,” Vassiliev concluded.
