Lemon Lady Records Announces New Artist Sign Up

Online, July 7, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Lemon Lady Records is proud to announce their newest client. Please welcome Grady Rivers to the Lemon Lady family of artists. He hails to us from Forest City, Missouri. Grady may be new to Lemon Lady Records but he is not new to country music. He was offered several recording contracts in Nashville in the mid eighties as well as a steady performing gig in Branson, Missouri. In March 2011 he reached #4 on the National Hot Country Artist list with a few of his new songs on ReverbNation.

Grady's life has always been filled with music, beginning with his mother, who sang and played guitar. His own talents were expressed in church and at school. Grady is a self taught musician with a special sound reminiscent of Conway Twitty. He and his band, "The Rusty River Band" played in honky tonks and night clubs throughout the Four State Area (Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma).

His musical influences are as diverse as his life experiences. What sets country music apart from all the rest? The life and times of the musicians who write and sing the songs we love so much. What artists contributed to the unique sound we hear from Grady Rivers today? The King himself, Elvis, was an early favorite. Also Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, The Beatles, The Eagles, and music of the sixties and seventies, including Simon and Garfunkel, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Wings. Today he enjoys and is influenced by country artists including Toby Keith and Alan Jackson as well as his old favorites.

Grady already has several CDs under his belt, including "Overdue" and "Me and Billy". He recently finished recording songs for his new CD, "Starin' Out My Window", which will be released nationwide this summer. It was recorded at Max Stout studios and includes Curtis Stroud on lead guitar, with production assistance by David Forrest Small, a fellow Lemon Lady artist.
