Leonce Law Launches Employee Rights Law Firm with Atlanta's Legal Elite in Attendance

Employment law specialist and former defense attorney Porsche Leonce believed it was fitting to launch her law firm, which enforces employee rights, on the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The launch party was held at the landmark hotel, the Georgian Terrace in Atlanta, Georgia on July 2, 2014.  During this incredible event, many of Atlanta’s top legal professionals joined in celebrating this milestone anniversary and to congratulate Leonce on the launch of her new firm. Featured speakers included the Honorable Thelma Wyatt Moore (retired), the first African-American female Chief Judge of the Fulton County Superior Court and Charles S. Johnson III, Esq., President of the esteemed civil rights organization, Southern Regional Council and Equity Partner at Holland & Knight.  Both speakers applauded Leonce for the necessary work she is doing to protect employee rights and enforce anti-discrimination and anti-harassment laws.

After six years of defending the country’s top companies in employment law cases, Leonce has followed her passion for grass roots advocacy and recently launched Leonce Law with two locations in metro Atlanta.  The firm’s core commitment is enforcing civil rights laws prohibiting discrimination and harassment in the workplace and protection from unfair pay practices.

I cannot promise that I can rectify the issue of discrimination and harassment in the workplace in my lifetime - though I am optimistic."
