Meeting will feature firm's co-founding partner Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq. Sworn in as President of the national AAML

Lesnevich, Marzano-Lesnevich, Trigg, O’Cathain & O’Cathain LLC, is preparing for the 2017 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) in Chicago, Illinois, at which their co-founding partner and family law department chair Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq., will be sworn in as the new President of the national AAML.

The AAML’s stated mission is to ‘promote professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.’ The organizing principle of the Academy is, “To provide leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.” To be admitted to the AAML requires the satisfactory completion of a long admission process including a challenging exam and a professional and personal review by local and national Academy Fellows. Previously Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq. was President of the New Jersey Chapter of the AAML, and subsequently honored as its ‘Fellow of the Year’ in 2016. She also received the Saul R. Tischler Award for lifetime contributions to family law from the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Family Law Section in 2015.

The 2017 Annual Meeting will also feature a dinner dance for Academy Fellows and their families entitled ‘A Night in Paris,’ featuring a French chanteuse, a mime and the renowned Chicago band the Chicago Catz, at the Renaissance Hotel in Chicago.
