EverQuest II is a multiplayer online role-playing game released in 2004. It offers players a choice to create good, neutral or evil characters which you could like, depending on the race and city they start in. Then the character naturally becomes a citizen of the city. When players reach Level 10, the players have an opportunity to change the citizenship of the character and even betray one's original side. It is only required a simple quest line for changing citizenship. But it is considerably more difficult to defect to a different alignment. There are two types for you to choose. First one is citizenship within alignment.
The only condition needed is your character reach Level 10. You can choose to change at any time after reaching Level 10.Be tolerated by the city where citizenship is sought.
Talk to the ambassador of the city from which citizenship is sought. For example, find the Kelethin Ambassador in Qeynos if you want to switch from Qeynos to Kelethin. Then you can start the quests to establish citizenship. Generally speaking, you can obtain citizenship after between three and five small quests must be completed. Obtain your new "Call of" ability. The change in citizenship will remove the old "Call of" ability and add a new one.
Here comes the other one is betraying alignment. The same condition needed as first one type. When you reach level 10, you get the chance to change. The quests can be done at any time following level 10, but must be over 10 as a minimum. However, generally you should be done the quests after level 20. For changing citizenship, speak with the ambassador for the city in which citizenship is sought just like first one type does. Choose the traitor quest to begin the betrayal process. The exception is betraying Gorowyn, where the "A Disreputable Boatman" quest is located at the dock, and it sends the character to Haven as an exile. Complete the betrayal quests to become an exile.
Select a new class if necessary. In the case of classes such as Paladin and Shadowknight, there is required a specific alignment. So it is always change a class after changing alignment
Raise faction with the new city of citizenship. Complete quests that raise that city's favor until you reach the "amicable" level. It guards no longer attack on sight. Locations and quest-givers depend on the new city. After you have reached the needed level of favor, the quest-giver will give you a new quest to become a citizen. In the case of Gorowyn and New Halas, it is faster to gain citizenship with their allied cities and then switch within faction.
