Levin-Mayer and the Levin-Mayer's Charitable Foundation, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is: "To improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children in poor communities," today announced that they have each donated $42,500, a total of $85,000, to leading relief efforts following the recent earthquake.
According to Clive Xiu Chang, President & CEO of Levin-Mayer and its Charitable Foundation, "The employees of Levin-Mayer were shocked and saddened to hear about the devastation caused by the recent earthquake. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims, especially the many children and their families. We hope that this contribution will help in some small way."
The Foundation also wishes to thank and acknowledge our employees and business partners who have helped support disadvantaged children through their generous contributions over the past seven years.
This is the second time Levin-Mayer's Charitable Foundation has donated funds for Haiti, earlier this month they have donated funds for food and water to be dropped from helicopters for the inaccessible communities that have been isolated due to the earth quake damage.
