Libertarians Run Native American Woman Candidate

Erin Lale, a Native American artist and writer, is running for Nevada State Assembly District 29.

On Feb. 11 2010, the Libertarian Party of Clark County held its annual convention and voted in their slate of candidates for the general election. Among them was Erin Lale, 41, of Henderson, NV, a Native American artist and writer. She is a member of the LPN Vote Caucus, a group of candidates running on the same policy platform of five planks detailed in the website http://www.lpnvote.com These planks are school choice, lower taxes, stronger economy, better healthcare, and legalization of marijuana.

Lale says, "It's time to get government's eyeball out of our windows and its hand out of our pockets."

Lale is running in Nevada State Assembly District 29, where the incumbent is democrat April Mastrolucca.
