Life Preservers Project's "Summer FUNraiser" Helps Victims of Human Trafficking and Children Living in Shelters in NYC
7th Annual Fundraising Event includes Cocktails, Auctions, Fashion and Art Show all for a Great Cause.
New York, NY, June 13, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Life Preservers Project, a not-for-profit organization that helps to raise much needed funds for the victims of Human Trafficking both locally and internationally, invites the community to participate in the organization’s 7th Annual Summer FUNraiser. The event will be held in Mid-town Manhattan at Proper West on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 beginning at 6:30 pm EST. Since its inception in 2009, Life Preservers Project has helped raise more $60,000 to help survivors of human trafficking. This year the organization partners with Women in eDiscovery’s New York City Chapter for the event and the net proceeds they raise from the event will be used to support GEMS-Girls and Operation Backpack.
