A Cherished tradition since 1923 this years event also marks the 25th year that GE has provided the lighting. Hosted by Tom Hanks with Patti Labelle, Fifth Harmony, The Tenors, Ne-Yo, Nico & Vinz, Steve Miller, Chely Wright and special guest Mo'ne Davis. In March Mo'ne will be sharing her story in her book Mo'ne Davis Remember My Name.

This years tree lighting brought together Philadelphians Patti Labelle, Mo'ne Davis and David Cohen

David picked up the guitar after hearing the guitar playing of Joan Armatrading. David worked as a baker and developed his skills to become a Pastry Chef while developing his skilss on the guitar. After studying and performing through out the United Sates David opened his teaching studio Guitar Point 1995 located in both Ocean Grove, NJ and Philadelphia PA. David studies have also included the Turkish oud and saz, the Puerto Rican quarto along with the Chinese pipa, Highland bagpipes and guitar. David is currently working on his second studio release of original compositions on the guitar,  Chinese pipa and bagpipes.
