Lillian Kuo Joins Shea Properties as SVP of Asset Management
Online, July 23, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Veteran real estate executive Lillian Kuo has joined Shea Properties as senior vice president of asset management, Bryan McGowan, Shea's chief operating officer and chief financial officer, has announced.
"Under Lillian's leadership, the Commercial Management Group will continue to be focused on our long-term strategic goals, which include maximizing the performance of our assets, diversifying our portfolio risk, and enhancing our operational efficiencies," McGowan said.
Kuo previously worked at Broadreach Capital Partners, where she had asset management responsibility for the Southern California and Arizona regions, which includes office, retail and R&D properties. In that role, she managed more than 3 million square feet of office, retail and industrial buildings valued at over $1 billion.

Prior to joining Broadreach in 2005, Lillian was part of the asset management team at CommonWealth Partners LLC, where she was responsible for optimizing economic and operational performance of the real estate investment, development and management company's $750-million portfolio of commercial properties in Los Angeles, Denver, Austin and Dallas.
Before joining CommonWealth, Kuo worked as a consultant with global business consulting firm Bain & Co., advising clients on competitive strategy, marketing and branding, growth strategy and organizational structure. Kuo also worked as a financial analyst in both the Global High Yield Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets groups at Morgan Stanley in New York and Hong Kong.
Kuo received a bachelor's degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master's degree in Business Administration from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.
