LINAK® Presents The Smartest TECHLINE® Actuator Ever - The LA36 IFLEX™

Online, November 8, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The LA36 actuator from the TECHLINE division is one of the strongest and toughest actuators from LINAK. It is based on the philosophy that it must be able to operate under extreme conditions within industry, agriculture, construction, marine or anywhere else where power and strength is mandatory.

The LA36 now takes actuator technology to a higher level. TECHLINE proudly presents the LA36 with all iFLEX options. TECHLINE actuators with iFLEX all feature an integrated H-bridge which is why iFLEX solutions require less space and fewer cables than traditional actuator solutions.

The control box is simply built into the actuator making installation easy and convenient. On top of that, iFLEX offers a wide range of intelligent features to suit the needs of all thinkable applications. To make it easy to choose the right iFLEX option, it has been divided into 4 overall integrated iFLEX options:

IC Basic - IC Advanced - Bus - Parallel

IC Basic is the straight forward plug and play solution. It comes pre-configured to meet the customer's exact requirements for stroke, speed and current limit of the actuator.

All left for the customer to do is to plug it in and it is ready for immediate use. It comes complete with basic feedback or single hall output.

IC Advanced offers unlimited access to configuration and adjustment of speed, stroke and current limit. It offers enhanced monitoring and read-out of information about the condition of the actuator and the application it is mounted in.

Bus communication offers unlimited customisation and enhanced monitoring with the added benefit of bus communication. iFLEX provides solutions with Modbus RTU RS485 or LINbus.

Parallel is the smart parallel drive solution offering parallel drive of up to 8 actuators. The system is self-configurable and the master with integrated H-bridge controls the remaining 7 slaves. The IN/OUT signals can be aplied anywhere and the actuators can be interconnected if required. This enables the drive of one of the actuators even if the others malfunction.

The overall benefits for all iFLEX options are Quick and easy installation with fewer components and cables.

The LA36 is the first TECHLINE actuator to be available with all four iFLEX options, but many more will follow.
