Lincoln Announces Starting Price For The 2013 Lincoln MKZ

Online, July 30, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Last week Lincoln announced that the 2013 Lincoln MKZ would start off at $35,925, not including the shipping costs of $875. This means that when the 2013 MKZ is released later this year, anyone can take home a brand new MKZ for $36,800; that's $800 less than the Lexus ES350, which Lincoln expects will be MKZ's biggest competition.

This price of $35,925 is the base price for the lowest trim level; however, Lincoln will offer four trim levels for the MKZ including: Premiere, Select, Reserve, and Preferred. The top trim level, Preferred, is estimated to be $45,125, but the more basic Premiere trim is still very well equipped.

The base price on the MKZ includes features such as push-button shift, LED headlights, a 10.1-inch LCD instrument panel, an 8-inch touch screen display, remote start, and Active Noise Control. In addition, a choice of 2.0-liter Ecoboost or 3.7-liter V-6 engines is available.

But perhaps the best part about the new MKZ is that Lincoln is not changing any extra for the for the Hybrid version of the new MKZ. That's right- the regular model and the hybrid model of the MKZ are the same price.
