Lincoln High School Uses Greatmats to Convert Auto Shop Into Black Box Theater
MILLTOWN, Wis., February 14, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Abraham Lincoln High School video production and theater teacher Kyle Gladden had a vision. His school, located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Los Angeles, California, had an unused auto shop that he felt would make a great black box theater that his video production class could use for its weekly student-directed web series ''Tigervision'' as well as theatrical performances.
After learning his grant for the black box theater transformation was approved, Gladden began his search for quality vendors to make the vision a reality and found Greatmats to be a perfect fit in the flooring aspect of the process.
They look great, feel good underfoot, and really make it 'look like a theater' for lack of a better description. We're really glad we found Greatmats!

At Greatmats.com, Gladden found the perfect theatrical flooring surface of his black box theater in its Dance And Stage Pro Marley vinyl rolls and rolls of 1/4 inch thick rubber rolls that serve as a shock absorbing underlayment over the existing concrete.
''The flooring rolls have been amazing,'' Gladden said. ''They look great, feel good underfoot, and really make it 'look like a theater' for lack of a better description. We're really glad we found Greatmats!''
