Lingerie Talk Offers Canadian Take On Designer Lingerie Trends

Canada has its first daily lingerie news source thanks to the arrival of Lingerie Talk, a blog website covering the lingerie industry by providing news, reviews and product announcements from major fashion labels around the world.

Canadian lingerie lovers can stay up to date on the latest trends with the help of LingerieTalk.com, Canada's first daily blog covering designer lingerie and swimwear.

Lingerie Talk was launched in April with the aim of covering the lingerie industry from a uniquely Canadian perspective. It reports daily on news, product releases and sales offers from major lingerie labels around the world -- but with a special focus on Canadian lingerie companies.

"Many people still don't realize that Canada has become a significant player in the lingerie industry," said Lingerie Talk founder Richard Vincente. "Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto are all host manufacturing facilities and head offices for some of the world's best-know brands like La Senza or La Vie En Rose."

"We thought it was time to shine a spotlight on Canada's lingerie designers, and to offer a Canadian view on the incredible international lingerie scene."

Lingerie Talk has recently profiled Canadian labels such as Fortnight Lingerie, Blush Lingerie, the unique mail-order company Panty By Post, and was the first news source to report the decision by Victoria's Secret to open stores in Canada this year.

And Canada isn't just a growing hotbed of design talent. It's also home to some of the world's best-loved lingerie models like Daria Werbowy, Jessica Stam and Coco Rocha, so there's always plenty of news to cover on Lingerie Talk.

"Canadians love lingerie much as Europeans do - passionately," said Vincente. "And in the past few years we've seen a blossoming on the design side to match that consumer enthusiasm, with dozens of great new lingerie designers, labels and shops entering the Canadian market.

"We have access to all the world's great lingerie labels here, but Canada is also developing its own reputation for creative, artistic and edgy lingerie collections from new young designers. It's a very exciting time for the intimate apparel industry in this country."

Lingerie Talk is based in Toronto, and operates with an editorial staff of four, plus a website technicians.
