Livos Energy Brings Wind Power Technology To The Lincolnshire Show
Livos Energy works considerately and responsibly with local communities to create renewable energy solutions.
Online, June 11, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Leading UK supplier of renewable energy sources and specialists in wind power technology and turbines, Livos Energy will be exhibiting at The Lincolnshire Show 2012 - a popular event for agriculture and the local community in the North East of England. The show takes place on Wednesday 20 June and Thursday 21 June at the Lincolnshire Showground, Grange-de-Lings in Lincoln.
Livos Energy works considerately and responsibly with local communities to create renewable energy solutions. Specialising in modest onshore wind turbine developments, Livos Energy has a highly-skilled technical team who can ensure these projects, which are often ignored by utilities and major wind farm developers, a greater profile. The company works with landowners looking to earn extra money, helping them with issues from initial planning applications through to ongoing service and maintenance.
JAMES MADIGAN at Livos Energy explains: "We have established a real niche market for single wind turbines. These bespoke projects make an important contribution to the energy sources' future as they ensure best use of the wind resources available in the UK. They also provide a way for landowners to diversify their income and ensure that smaller farms remain viable. We are really looking forward to bringing our solutions to the 2012 Lincolnshire Show this summer."
Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy of the wind into useable source of energy that can be used to power electrical and mechanical devices. A turbine produces electricity around 80-85% of the time; however it generates different outputs depending on the wind speed. Over the course of a year, a turbine will generate about 30% of the theoretical maximum output, often referred to as the turbine's capacity factor, or load factor.
Unlike other power sources, wind power uses no fuel and emits no air pollution. Currently, the UK generates around 7% of its energy through wind turbines.
The Lincolnshire Show is a firm highlight in the Lincolnshire community's calendar, attracting over 60,000 visitors over two days. Agriculture remains very much at the heart of the show and visitors can enjoy livestock and equine competitions, machinery and vintage vehicle displays, cooking demonstrations and tastings, as well as a craft tent, flower show and live music. Livos Energy will have a stand at The Lincolnshire Show, offering visitors information about its range of wind power services.
