Local Atlanta Businesswoman To Present Image and Branding Seminar At International Leadership Summit
Leading image consultant and branding strategist Sarah Hathorn has been invited to address the highly respected Linkage Women's Leadership Summit of 2010.
Online, September 16, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Atlanta resident and business owner Sarah Hathorn, a leading professional image consultant and branding strategist, has been selected to join the faculty of the Linkage Women's Leadership Summit 2010. The professional leadership conference will be held November 8-10 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, California. Hathorn will give a featured 90-minute presentation on the topic of how women can experience a life-changing makeover through professional leadership presence and communication.
The annual summit convenes women of unique talent and promise who have distinguished themselves as globally minded business leaders. During this year's event Hathorn and her colleagues will share a variety of innovative tools, strategies, and resources to help women enhance their careers and empower their organizations.
"I am really honored to have this privilege and opportunity to encourage women in leadership positions to acknowledge and develop their high potential," says Hathorn.
She will give a special presentation titled LEAD, which is an acronym for Leverage, Empower, Achieve and Deliver. The session is especially tailored for women leaders of Fortune 1,000 firms and will show them practical, effective ways to leverage their leadership presence and step into the spotlight for greater career success.
Hathorn can personally identify with the challenges these top women leaders face. Prior to launching her own successful firm, Illustra Image Consulting, she was a senior level executive for the Fortune 500 organization Macy's Inc. After being identified within the company as a high potential leader she went on to face challenges including multiple corporate mergers, sudden downsizing, and unexpected consolidations. Those challenges and her ability to successfully negotiate them defined her tenure as an executive in the retail industry.
"Today's women leaders need to develop an influential multi-dimensional presence that includes a mastery of such things as business and international etiquette, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, media presence, online technology, and powerful imaging and branding," explains Hathorn. "Then they can step into the leadership spotlight with poise and confidence to become recognized and valued experts in their respective professions and industries."
