Local Central PA Window and Door Distributor Donates 50 New Windows to the Etters PA Home Build for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Online, June 24, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Carlisle, PA - Late Tuesday night, a donation of more than $26,000 worth of high performance Integrity from Marvin Windows and Doors were dropped off to the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition build site in Etters Pennsylvania. LightStyles, Ltd., the regional Marvin Windows and Doors distributor worked with Musser Home Builders and authorized Marvin retailer, Advanced Sash and Door, to coordinate the donation, delivery and expert installation of all 50 Integrity windows.

The Keefer Family's new home will be outfitted with one of the window industry's most advanced window materials: Ultrex®. Their windows will include casement and stationary Wood Ultrex® and All Ultrex® Integrity windows. Ultrex is a proprietary creation made of pultruded fiberglass. Thin, strong cables of glass are saturated with special resin compounds, creating a remarkably durable material that vastly outperforms vinyl and roll-form aluminum.

LightStyles selected Integrity windows for this special project so that the Keefer Family would have more time to spend with each other rather than time spent maintaining their windows. The Integrity windows in the Keefer's new home are ENERGY STAR rated and include a double pane glass system called Low E II that includes argon gas between the panes to ensure energy efficiency and increased comfort.

The entire build is being led by an experienced Integrity Windows and Doors partner, Musser Home Builders, Inc. of Dillsburg, PA. With more than 4,000 volunteers, the home will be revealed in just a few short days to the Keefer Family and to the entire country in an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition episode sometime this fall, the show's ninth season.
