Local Entrepreneur Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Create Innovative New Product and Jobs in Cleveland
Local Cleveland based entrepreneur and inventor, Jim Stallman, launches Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to make the most innovative and functional ice cooler ever created while creating new jobs in Cleveland, OH. If the Kickback Kooler reaches its goal of raising $150,000 during its Kickstarter campaign, the company will begin manufacturing the coolers in Cleveland.
CLEVELAND, OH, September 18, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Designed for the serious fun seeker, the Kickback Kooler takes the pain and stress out of transporting your favorite refreshments and delivers user comfort on site – whether its camping or fishing, tailgating, or just a backyard cookout. North Olmsted’s Jim Stallman is the inventor and founder of the Kickback Kooler.
According to Stallman, the Kickback Kooler is almost entirely a Northeast Ohio project. He has worked with tooling and component purveyors from Cleveland to Ashland to ensure that the Kickback Kooler is made in America by Americans.
“It’s functional and practical with no distracting gimmicks,” Stallman said. “We’ve conducted numerous tests on the weight, durability and maneuverability of our cooler to ensure that it meets customers’ expectations.”
The Kickback Kooler’s flat-free rubber wheels, not cheap plastic wheels you see on most other coolers, and an innovative foldable handle make moving the Kickback Kooler as easy as pulling a child’s wagon. Then you can relax in comfort on the two ergonomically-designed seats with flip-up back supports.
The Kickback Kooler is 23½-inches high, 48-inches long, 21½-inches wide and has a capacity of 105 quarts. It features two internal compartments, to keep wet and dry items separate. Each compartment has its own drain plug. It also has built-in cup holders and an access door to grab your favorite beverages with having to keep getting up and down.
“Even fully loaded, the Kickback Kooler can accommodate two 350-pound, full-grown men with no problem,” Stallman continued. “We know that it can withstand up to 1,200 pounds.” The strength and durability of the Kickback Kooler can be attributed to its rotational-molded construction.
Not just strong and durable, the Kickback Kooler also will be available in five colors: candy apple red & white, shoreline green & white, steel blue & white and deep orange & white as well as hunter green & beige.
To get started, Kickback Kooler has launched a Kickstarter* crowdfunding campaign. Stallman said that, if the Kickback Kooler reaches its goal of raising $150,000 once the Kickstarter campaign is complete, the company will begin shipping coolers for delivery in approximately 8 weeks.
Initially, coolers may be ordered through pledges to the Kickback Kooler Kickstarter campaign. “We even have an early bird special where the first 100 people who pledge for a cooler can save $100,” Stallman added.
