Local Hvac System Cleaning Contractor Awarded Certification Credentials
In an effort to enhance consumer protection and provide air quality assurance to the public, the Washington, DC-based NADCA- The HVAC Inspection, Restoration & Maintenance Association, held its certification examination for certified ventilation system inspectors on 07/29/2011.
Local contractor Derrick Rhodes, of Mediclean Air Duct Cleaning, was among a select group of professionals who passed the NADCA CVI examination and was awarded the distinguished title of "Certified Ventilation System Inspector" (CVI). The CVI designation recognizes the knowledge and understanding of various HVAC components and systems, and the proper methodology for conducting a comprehensive inspection. This meets the intent of NADCA's standard for the Assessment, Cleaning and Restoration of HVAC Systems (ACR).
With heightened public awareness of the effects of system cleanliness and performance on a building's overall indoor air quality, the demand for system assessments and inspections has increased dramatically. The NADCA Certification Program helps to ensure that members of the association possess the required knowledge and expertise to perform these inspections in a competent and professional manner.
