Local London Business Gives Success Story & Lecture To University
Online, May 6, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The entrepreneurial team at Alkali, which is an integrated aesthetic clinic based in Putney, London was recently called upon by the University of Westminster as a guest speaker to give its success story and lecture on how to build a brand & marketing using IT to its Business IT students.
The clinic, which is run by Dr Aalok Y Shukla only started business in September of 2009. It was highly marked by the University of Westminster for its entrepreneurial concept & current online marketing strategies.
Commenting on the invitation, Dr Aalok Y Shukla responded with gratitude saying "it would be remarkable to set an example for the current students and also letting them know how fast marketing tools and channels are changing".
Looking further at his clinic, Alkali offers services in dentistry, non-surgical skin care enhancement and preventive medicine. Its goal Dr Aalok says "is to improve the whole body & health of an individual not just each aspect".
An interesting concept, which he feels most clinics will start to adopt in the future. Its IT marketing strategies not only make use of paid adverts on search engines such as Google but having a constantly maintained website with new offers & promotions, making use of local Review sites and the Social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter & Youtube.
He mentions that it's important to close as many barriers as much possible between the potential client & the business. Having direct contact with clients on Fabebook, replying to dental queries on tweets and making videos giving more information on dentistry & skincare takes the business to a new branch of marketing.
The lecture was held at the University of Westminster Business School in Marylebone.
