Local Nursery Recognized For Improving Community Appearance

Several properties landscaped by Green Biz Nursery were honored at the 4th Annual Community Appearance Awards Ceremony in Spring Lake, NC.

Several properties landscaped by Green Biz Nursery were honored at the 4th Annual Community Appearance Awards Ceremony in Spring Lake, NC.

"We were very excited to hear that properties we've landscaped were honored. Green Biz cares a lot about our community and is proud to be involved in improving the appearance of Cumberland County," Charles Allen CEO/Founder of Green Biz Nursery.

The Awards Ceremony is sponsored by The City-County Joint Appearance Commission and aims to recognize properties that are improving the appearance of Cumberland County. Award categories include Best New Residential Property, Best Revitalization of a Residential Property, Best Green Project and more.

Many of the properties nominated were landscaped or maintained by Green Biz Nursery. Those properties include the Villagio, Mellow Mushroom, AAA Glass and the Town of Hope Mills. Mellow Mushroom was nominated for two awards, Best New Non-Residential Property and Best Revitalization of a Non- Residential Property. AAA Glass was also nominated for Best New Revitalization of a Non-Residential Property, as well as Best Landscaping Project. The Villagio won an award for Best Housing Development or Neighborhood. The Town of Hope Mills was awarded Best Landscaping Project.

"This is our aim. We want to better our community through what we do," Allen continued. "It's an honor and I'm proud of our entire team."
