Organic foods don't refer to a 100% natural way of producing. But all substances used for growth are natural and not harmful for the body. GMO foods are long disputed if they enter the Organic food category. Since the genes of the foods are altered for faster growth, but substances used in fertilization or animal foods are natural, some local markets in Detroit accept them, while other proudly estate that they don't. It basically depends on the client's believes regarding this matter.
