Former GMAC and UAL IT Exec Joins Small Footprint as VP of Enterprise Services
Online, January 31, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Rob Robless has joined Triad-based Small Footprint as Vice President of Enterprise Services. Small Footprint, located in downtown Winston-Salem, is an international software development company providing custom software, technology and outsourcing to a growing base of mid-sized companies.
Rob has over 25 years experience in technology leadership positions at start-ups and major corporations. He served most recently as VP of IT Architecture at GMAC Insurance and is the former Chief Technical Officer for United Airlines' united.com and MileagePlus. Mr. Robless has previously held executive positions (C-level, VP, and Director) in Application Development and Enterprise Architecture at United Airlines, Comdisco, and SHLSystemhouse (EDS), and has significant experience in building large-scale enterprise solutions and eBusiness systems. Rob also holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from George Washington University in Washington D.C.
Mr. Robless consulted on behalf of Small Footprint for a year prior to joining the company full-time.
Rob's newly created position is designed to enable Small Footprint to capitalize on the trend toward full service outsourced application development, maintenance, and operations among its new and existing client-partners while expanding the company's local presence.
