London Barcelona 2012: Dual City Summer Sessions for Art and Design in Europe

The partners in these programmes are all colleges with outstanding reputations based in cities famous for their culture and creativity.

These courses are the perfect opportunity for students to develop new skills, sample the environment of these prestigious institutions, make new friends and business contacts and learn the latest industry thinking from an impressive role call of tutors, many of whom have their own external art or design practices.

Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London is collaborating with ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, to offer a fascinating European design journey over four weeks in Summer 2012.

Starting in the vibrant, global metropolis of London with its wealth of sources of inspiration from the past to the present and ending in one of southern Europe's most attractive, design focused cities with great architecture and great weather.

These courses are for portfolio-builders, current students, new professionals and creative individuals with an interest in advertising, architecture, art history, furniture design, visual merchandising, photography and sporting games legacy design. All courses are taught in English and suitable for all ages (18+) and abilities with no prerequisites.

2011 marks ELISAVA's 50th anniversary. A long history as a pioneering school in the teaching of design and engineering which is still contributing to training professionals. ELISAVA, which is affiliated to Pompeu Fabra University, has over 2,200 students from around the world enrolled in the official courses for Degrees in Design, Industrial Design Engineering, and Building Engineering.
