Julie Ãuna, one of 12, grew up in Elkhart, Indiana; married her husband, Carl; and was blessed with 3 sons, 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson.

Carl and Julie moved their family to Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1969 where she still resides. Julie became serious about her hobby of writing after her sons left the nest, taking a beginners computer course at then Garland County Community College and a couple of years later she attended a creative writing course under the direction of Paul Stewart.

After 48 years as a cosmetologist, Mrs. Ãuna turned her hobby into cash.
