Seeing an opportunity to expand into this hot new niche, the management at Longmont Machining recently purchased a 20 watt YVO4 laser for marking metals and polymers. This strategic move further propels Longmont Machining above their competition by offering services other machine shops lack.
Laser marking is quickly becoming the preferred identification method as the marks are permanent, very crisp and detailed, do not use any hazardous chemicals, and release no hazardous waste.
