LumenOptix Builds National Representation with 4 Regional Managers.
LumenOptix, a US manufacturer of application-specific lighting solutions, announced today that it has finalized its extensive recruitment process for four Regional Sales Managers.
Online, March 12, 2012 (Newswire.com) - "We pioneered the retrofit luminaire market and we continue to be the leader in shaping its progress," explains Jay Goodman, LumenOptix CEO. "Investing in the highest quality people remains a top priority as we execute on our aggressive growth plans. We are now represented in the entire United States."
Bennie Pierce, whose sales territory for LumenOptix comprises the southeast region, including West Virginia and Texas, has already been instrumental in growing an agent network that is now second to none. Prior to joining LumenOptix, Pierce was a top sales rep for Hubbell Building Automation and has expert knowledge in energy-saving lighting and controls.
As Western Regional Manager, Dennis Pickelsimer brings to the territory his vast experience in the lighting and the electrical industry as a principal with Stellar Sales Inc. in La Mirada, CA and prior to that, as a sales representative with Simkar Corporation in Philadelphia. Pickelsimer's well-known expertise of energy projects for national accounts will prove invaluable for LumenOptix.
Michael Goldberg, selected as Northeast Regional Manager for LumenOptix, was previously a territory representative for Juno Lighting, where he achieved an all-star reputation managing sales rep agencies as well as working directly with distributors, specifiers, end users and contractors. Goldberg's sales career includes positions with Progress Lighting and also ELA/Cooper Lighting, winning numerous top sales awards at both.
For Midwest Regional Manager, LumenOptix chose industry-renowned Tony Onofrio, one of the most accomplished sales representatives in lighting. As national sales manager for Modular International in Pittsburgh, Onofrio oversaw more than 100 sales agencies and worked directly with architects, lighting designers and engineers. Onofrio's vast knowledge includes a wide range of interior and exterior lighting products in both conventional and solid-state light sources. In his 35 years as a lighting professional, Onofrio regularly presented lighting solutions for IES and AIA-accredited functions and was the original founder of Amerilight, Inc. in Des Plaines, Il.
"Our agents have grown to rely on us for rapid development of high-quality lighting solutions" explains LumenOptix CEO, Jay Goodman. "Our new regional sales team, combined with our rapid configuration model, positions us well to fill the void for agents looking for unique opportunities - especially as the need for application-specific LED solutions grows"
