BAY AREA COMPANY TO EMPOWER
LOCAL BUSINESSWOMEN WITH LUNCHEON SERIES
Hewins hosts the first in a series of luncheons dedicated to aiding financial and personal transformation during an economic downturn.
SAN MATEO, Calif. Hewins Financial Advisors, LLC (Hewins) in association with the Women's Achievement and Network Development Alliance (WANDA), will host the first in a series of luncheons dedicated to empowering local businesswomen in their financial and personal lives.
The event will feature Colleen Jordan Hallinan as the keynote speaker, who will share her experiences in demystifying investment success. As a Principal and Senior Vice President with Hewins, Hallinan has been guiding clients towards intelligent investment decision-making. Guest speaker Elena Daciuk, personal shopper, founder and owner of Fabulous Finds, will also speak about how to gain momentum in all aspects of life by maximizing personal transformation.
As the first in an ongoing luncheon series dedicated to financial and personal transformation for Bay Area businesswomen, Invest in Yourself event aims to also raise awareness for WANDA. WANDA assists and empowers low-income single mothers with growth and educational programs focusing on financial management, career advancement and life skills training. The goal of the Invest in Yourself luncheon series is to foster these same skills for the audience of Bay Area businesswomen.
"One big distinction of women is that we are always caring for others. Maybe it's cultural, maybe genetic - surely both. In our effort to take care of everyone around us we often forget about ourselves, about making sure that we will be ok. WANDA moms have reached that point in their lives, where they've decided to make a commitment to themselves and their future. And we should all do the same. Ironically, we're in a position to not only commit to our own success, but have the capacity to contribute to the success of others," says Hallinan.
Hewins is a wholly independent, fee-only wealth management and advisory firm, and is dedicated to enhancing the financial health and success of families, institutions and retirement plans. Hewins provides clients with sophisticated investment and tax management strategies developed to meet the highest fiduciary standards. WANDA is a circle of women who pool their donations to invest in a strategy that will increase the economic self-sufficiency of low-income single mothers in San Mateo County.
