Luncheon with Sara Ã-hrvall
Online, February 14, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Sara Ã-hrvall, one of "Top 21 most intriguing people in media 2010" according to MIN, is directing the global Research & Development initiative at Bonnier. She has recently led the launch of the Mag+ concept which includes the launch of Popular Science for iPad. Based in San Francisco, she also manages digital product development for all Bonnier's media channels, including magazines, newspapers, books, TV, movies and games.
Sara Ã-hrvall will discuss the following topics during the Luncheon:

• Keeping track of changes in consumer demand in a turbulent market place
• Future product development and design systems
• Technology as a starting point for new product development
Ã-hrvall will be moving back to Stockholm with her family, but before that, we get this unique chance to accommodate her as a speaker. The presentation will alternate experiences from Swedish-based media company Bonnier's R&D projects with other business cases and market expert insights.
Ã-hrvall was recruited to Bonnier in 2008. She built a central R&D department within Bonnier in order to meet the paradigm shift that digitalization has meant for the media industry and to understand the new behavior patterns of readers, viewers and users. The aim of the unit is to introduce digital media products that consumers are willing to pay for.
Sara has previously worked at Volvo Cars, where she was responsible for concept development of jeep hybrids, sports and eco-friendly cars. Other experiences include Managing Director and partner of brand agency Differ, founder of the innovation-focused consulting firm Ninety and market analyst at Toyota, working with product launch strategies globally. She is a well renowned guest lecturer at the top graduate schools in Sweden including the Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology. Sara has worked in Tokyo, London, Singapore, New York and Brussels and has an MBA from UmeÃ¥ Business School in Sweden. She has also studied architecture and design at Parsons School of Design in New York. America's largest trade organization within the media industry, MIN, elected Sara Ã-hrvall to one of the "Top 21 most intriguing people in media 2010" in New York last year. Her team also won "Best of the Web Award" within the category "Digital Team of the Year".
