Macabre Haunt presents Antioch Asylum

Antioch, IL, June 17, 2015 (Newswire.com) - WHAT: The arrival of Fall signifies the beginning season of spine-chilling haunted houses, and Macabre Haunt is proud to present Antioch Asylum, a-newly revamped haunt, that will have you screaming. To set the scene, the “fictional” tale states that in 1964 the State Health Board of Illinois shut down Dr. Murphy’s Antioch Psychiatric Hospital due to unethical practices. However, it was discovered that all the patients and staff disappeared without a word. It is thought that Dr. Murphy and his patients moved to an undisclosed location, turning their hospital into a house of horrors. Featuring new heart pounding scares that include 40 disease infested, medically induced asylum patients and pits of death dug into the cold, hard ground, this haunted asylum with over 15,000 square feet of pure terror, is not for the faint of heart.
