MadgeTech Doubles Data Logging Ability With New X-Series

MadgeTech Releases New X-Series

Sometimes MadgeTech releases one new product, sometimes 36. Today, MadgeTech announces the release of 36 new products making up the new X-Series of data loggers. Made up of four segments, the X-Series offers data loggers that monitor voltage, current and temperature through both RTD probes as well as thermocouples. Each data logger is available with either 4, 8, 12, or 16 channels, the most channels available on a MadgeTech data logger.

The TCTempX loggers accepts thermocouple types J, K, T, E, R, S, B and N for recording temperatures up to 1820° C, probe dependent. For applications requiring a higher resolution, the RTDTempX data loggers boast a resolution of 0.001° C. The RTDTempX also features a removable screw terminal accepting 2, 3 and 4-wire RTDs.

The CurrentX data loggers feature 3-input removable screw terminals and has a reading rate of up to 4 Hz. All CurrentX data loggers are available in three models, 30 mA, 160 mA or 3 A, depending on the range required. For high-resolution voltage recording, the VoltX data loggers highlights up to 0.004 mV resolution, range dependent. All VoltX data loggers are available in three models, 160 mV, 3.2 V and 32 V.

All X-Series data loggers are self-contained, solid, aluminum devices that can store up to 4 million readings, logger dependent. These data loggers are ideal for long deployments with a battery life of up to 18 months.  With direct connection via Micro USB, there is no need for an additional interface to connect to the MadgeTech 4 Software.

The entire X-Series relies on the power of the latest version of MadgeTech 4 Software. All channels can be uniquely named in the software for easy identification. Channels can also be enabled or disabled to provide flexibility and maximize memory capacity. Once data is downloaded, the software can generate graphs, data tables and statistic reports in the click of a button. Gone are the days of manual calculations, with engineering units, users can easily complete complicated conversions to get the data that really matters.
