The SEIA is a non-profit organization which has set itself the goal of promoting the use of solar energy as a relevant alternative to conventional energy sources. With its membership MAGE SOLAR intends to be involved in decisions in the fast-growing solar market in the USA.
The SEIA sees itself as the voice of the solar industry and represents the interests of more than 900 solar companies with government bodies. As a member of the association, which was founded in 1974, MAGE SOLAR can benefit from the advantages of a large network and make use of synergies. By regularly exchanging information the company will also keep informed of current developments in the industry and therefore be able to react quickly to changes.
"The USA will in the foreseeable future become one of the largest photovoltaics markets in the world," explains Norbert Philipp, CEO of MAGE SOLAR GMBH. "We want to actively help to shape this high-growth market by standing up for common interests and in doing so securing the long-term success of the solar industry."
The SEIA pushes the use of solar technologies by improving market conditions and explaining the benefits of solar energy to the public. In doing so the SEIA works closely with other organizations and various national associations such as the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) and the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA).
