Online, August 9, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The Black Dog Cafe and Wine Bar in Lowertown St. Paul, Minn. is hosting a book launch party for the release of The Blank Slate Boarding House for Creatives by St. Paul author Chaunce Stanton on August 22, 2013.
Unlike a traditional book-signing format, this event puts the author on stage with dramatic readings, backed by the jazz stylings of The Medicinal Jazz Band and the insidious mind magic of stage mentalist, Dr. Tinkerpaw.
A limited number of guests will win free copies of the book or other prizes.
The event begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Wine, beer, and food are available for purchase.
About the Venue
The Black Dog Cafe and Wine Bar is located across from the St. Paul Farmers' Market in the arts-rich area of Lowertown St. Paul. The cafe features the works of local artists and is the location where author Chaunce Stanton wrote much of his latest novel, and to whom the book is dedicated.
