Major Road Closure Alert: SR-826 / 163rd St / Sunny Isles Blvd. CLOSED

Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, November 16, 2016 (Newswire.com) - A major road closure will take place at Westbound State Road 826 / 163rd Street / Sunny Isles Boulevard, due to the installation of the Pedestrian Overpass to Gateway Park.

This closure requires the full closure of all westbound lanes; inner business loop, outer loop, and ramp, from Collins Avenue to the east end of the Public Storage lot starting at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18 through Monday, November 21 at 5:00 a.m. (see attached map). Traffic detours will redirect northbound traffic to the William Lehman Causeway and southbound traffic will be diverted to the Broad Causeway at 96 Street through Bal Harbour.

During this time, the SIBshuttle will be unable to provide service to the Intracoastal Mall.
