Make-a-Wish Grants Extraordinary Wish to Diablo Wind Symphony (A Program of BDPA) Member Ruby Goshert

Concord, California, March 5, 2017 (Newswire.com) - It is with great excitement that BDPA is able to announce that Make-A-Wish surprised Diablo Wind Symphony member, Ruby Goshert with the news that her wish to go to Berlin for a live performance of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra is coming true.  Ruby performed with the Wind Symphony on March 5, 2017 at Lesher Center for the Arts at 7:30PM. Prior to the final musical piece of the evening, DWS Director John Maltester presented Ruby with the wonderful Make-A-Wish surprise.

Ruby is a remarkable young woman with a very positive attitude.

Ruby Goshert is a 9th-grade trombonist for the Diablo Wind Symphony and she credits her journey in music with helping her battle with cancer.  She received flowers and was granted the wish as a complete surprise.
