Margaritas Mexican Restaurant Unveils New Menu

Executive Chef Draws from Travels to Mexico to Find Inspiration

Margaritas Mexican Restaurant has reinvented their popular menu with the addition of several mouth-watering dishes and a new appearance. The 23-unit restaurant chain, known for its commitment to authentic flavors and rich Mexican style decor, debuted the new menu this month.

Every year, Margaritas Executive Chef Martha Leahy takes trips to various regions throughout Mexico to hone in on traditional flavors of the country and get inspiration from local dishes to share in the New England restaurants.

"We're committed to using authentic Mexican flavors in a new way, so we're excited to share all these new items with our guests. We know that they will soon become fan favorites," said Leahy.

Margaritas has enhanced the menu with 15 new and improved dishes, all prepared from scratch, made to order and presented in a distinctive Margaritas style. These irresistible dishes, which launched on August 16, feature flavors and ingredients that leave everyone satisfied. Some of the new items include:

• Fried Carnitas Tacos: Back by popular demand, the Fried Carnitas Tacos have reappeared on the new menu along with the Chicken Tinga Tacos and the Sweet Dream Dessert Taco. These menu items were guest favorites during a recent limited time only menu focused on tacos.
• Carne Asada Steak: Margaritas specialty rajas blend of roasted poblano and suntan peppers and onions tossed in crema makes this traditional favorite hard to pass up.
• Enchiladas Banderas: A favorite for vegetarians, three enchiladas stuffed with freshly made guacamole, black beans and salsa fresca.

The expanded menu at Margaritas offers more than just delicious food. Both the look and the feel are completely different, creating a better dining experience for guests. Stunning new photos are generously used to highlight the more popular items and illustrate the delicious meal that guests can expect. The menu is also re-organized to make it easier for guests to understand the different food categories.

One menu item that isn't going anywhere is the world's tastiest margarita. Offered in a variety of flavors including fan favorites Blood Orange and Prickly Cactus, as well as their award-winning "Original Margarita." Hand shaken and expertly presented, it's clear to see why Margaritas is a top happy hour destination.
