With 30 years of experience in real estate, Mikunda​​​​​​​​ brings a wealth of knowledge to her industry. She decided to enter real estate after immigrating to the United States from Poland. When asked why she decided to pursue a career in real estate, Mikunda​​​​​​ said:

"In Poland at that time all of the housing was run by the government, so real estate professionals weren’t even a thing. When I first came here I had to teach myself English, and then I started working as a cosmetologist. I went to Paris a couple of times and I really thought that it was something I wanted to do, being much younger at the time. But after awhile I felt that it was not enough for me. It’s nice to make people beautiful, but it’s just not enough to make them satisfied with life. I think finding a house is a big part of life and as a Real Estate Agent I knew I could help with that big decision. Being Polish, I saw that there were a lot of people who came from Poland and couldn’t speak English and couldn’t understand their mortgages. That’s how I realized my vision of how I could help and how I could build my life in this country."

In 2012, Mikunda ventured out to start her own Real Estate agency, Complete Real Estate, named for the company's success in completing nearly all of its deals, to the satisfaction of its clients. With her expertise in the entire process of purchasing a home – from finding the right home, to getting the best mortgage – her company has seen a rapid rise in the Connecticut real estate market.
