Marietta, GA Based Emergency Preparedness Retail Company Expands Through Acquisition

Marietta, GA, April 6, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Kudzu Tactical LLC, dba TruPrep announces the acquisition of The Preppers Vault (Kennesaw, GA).  The Preppers Vault retail store in Kennesaw is being merged into TruPrep's location at 1000 Cobb Parkway North in Marietta.   The asset-based acquisition creates the largest dedicated emergency preparedness retail establishment in the state of Georgia and one of the largest in the country with over 4,000 products and over 9,000 sq ft of retail and warehousing space.  In addition both ecommerce sites will be combined into the existing TruPrep site at TruPrep.com.  The acquisition will also strengthen outreach to community, corporate, civic, and government organizations.

TruPrep was launched in 2011 as one of the first dedicated emergency preparedness product retailers in the country.  Located in Marietta, GA, the flagship location is known as one of the largest dedicated retail establishments providing consumer and professional emergency preparedness products and services in the state of Georgia.  TruPrep offers products such as long-term food storage, water filtration, first aid kits and accessories, survival tools and other related products.  With an emphasis on education, TruPrep also offers consulting services and hosts workshops on a wide variety of topics such as preparedness, food storage, personal protection, and other survival topics.

The Preppers Vault was launched in 2013 with a related focus including an increased emphasis on corporate and government agency outreach.

The combination of the two businesses will be celebrated as part of a "Merger Celebration"

on Saturday, April 9th from 11am to 3pm to be held at TruPrep's Marietta location.  The celebration will be attended by manufacturers, and will feature demonstrations, giveaways, sales, and a new "Bargain Vault" showcasing products with major discounts.
