Online, December 26, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Indian car major Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch a new car 'Eco'. Maruti Suzuki Eco, a C segment vehicle will be on display in the Auto Expo 2010, in Delhi next month and is expected to be launched in 2010. It is to be said that 'Eeco' is the replacement for the Versa.
Maruti Eco is an affordable family car in the range of 4 Lakhs to 5 Lakhs, available in two versions with three rows and two rows seating options with the seating capacity of five and seven passengers respectively. This car has a new, powerful and highly fuel efficient 1200 cc engine. This new engine delivers 73 bhp of raw power @6000rpm, a high torque of 101Nm@3000rpm specifically designed to meet the Indian driving conditions.
Along with providing a comfortable seating and driving position, seats designed with integrated head rest to make for a comfortable ride. The presence of sliding doors eases entry and exit for passengers and trendy and contemporary body graphics giving an appealing look. The 155/R13LT sized tubeless tyres will providing a good grip on the road and superior suspension which allows for a smooth and comfortable ride on rough Indian roads.
Maruti Eco complies with all safety norms. It uses Lead, Cadmium, Mercury and Chromium within permissible limits. Eeco is India's first Green Car among C segment vehicles.
