With the global recession withdrawing and the marketplace once again busy with buyers and sellers of heavy machinery all over the world, Mascus has introduced the ability to browse ads by specific brands to enable customers to locate their desired equipment quicker. The new brand page index (http://www.mascus.com/Brands) gives visitors the opportunity to go straight to a specific make, for example, Toyota, JBC, John Deere, or Massey Ferguson, rather than having to search through each category individually.

"The brand pages will help us to deliver a much more comprehensive and easy to use system, meaning that our customers can find what they want quickly and efficiently," explains Patrycja Tomczak, SEO Manager of Mascus. "What is important, it also helps those customers who are placing ads on Mascus, as it maximizes our exposure on search engines, boosting us up the page rankings," adds Patrycja.

Quick, easy and simple to use

Mascus brand pages are devoted to represent the high end of the market, providing customers with a direct route to some of the most popular names in the industry.

"Our customers and users don't have the time to spend all day battling their way through numerous pages," says Robert Tate, Country Manager for Mascus UK and Ireland . "They want a website that delivers a quick route to the equipment that they consider interesting, relevant to their business and, if they have a particular favorite brand they like to buy, makes it easy to locate it. We believe this additional feature gives our customers a far better and easier to use website without detracting from other opportunities within the portal to find real bargains or place their machinery in a pro-active selling environment," he explains.

The brand boxes will also appear on the landing pages of each category page and the brands, that are most popular will also appear first. It is also an opportunity for sellers to reach a wider audience. "By categorizing by make, those sellers who have specific branded machinery will know that they are advertising their machinery to buyers who are looking for that particular brand," says Robert Tate. "As a result, buyers and sellers should be able to find what they are looking for at the click of a button, speeding up the exchange and really helping the industry to move forward," he concludes.
