Master Hairstylist with Psychic Talent Joins Prescott Salon

A Borgata (the meeting place) Salon for Essential Beauty announces the welcome addition of its newest Master Stylist, Cindy Fortmeyer to the team.

What makes her different from most in her field is that while she works on a customer's hair, she is also working in their energy field.

Several unretouched photos offer proof that there is more to Fortmeyer's hair design than simple cutting, processing and styling. An expert hairstylist for more than 30 years, her clients are still surprised when they see her energy at work during a haircut.

"I was stunned when I saw the photo of our energy fields while she was cutting my hair. I didn't see the trails of light while she was working, but once I got home and saw the photos my fiance took of us I was amazed. You really can see the energy fields. I'll be a lifelong customer of Cindy's because I not only look better after seeing her, but I feel better too. There's something special about the addition of energy work to hair cutting and I've never found this anywhere else. "
Kathi Calahan, client.

Paranormal experiences are not unusual for this Master Stylist who became aware of aura colors and energy transfers while at a shampoo bowl in a California salon. She remembers,

"I intuitively sensed auras, physical disorders and could feel negative vibrations. It was really interesting."

PREPARE FOR SUMMER NOW
With the approach of hot weather clothing and long exposures to damaging sun rays, Cindy recommends ladies come in to re-evaluate whether their current hairstyle is still working for them,

"Now is the time to prepare your hair for summer damage. Hair gets so much more damaged with dry breakage and split ends in the summertime because we're out at the pool or doing more outdoor activities at the park, the lake or golfing. This is the time to get a deep, hydrating conditioning that stays on through several shampoos. I can't stress preventative hair care enough."

Cutting hair to match facial shapes, hair type and prominent facial features, this Psychic Hair Stylist remembers how many people used to ask for Farrah Fawcett's memorable long cut. But she says a person is able to pull off certain trendy styles only if they have the facial features and hair type (thick, thin, curly, or straight) to match the style.

TIPS FOR CORRECT HAIR SERVICES
While hair styling is ultimately up to the client, Fortmeyer recommends several red flags to keep in mind before going to a stylist:
1. Prominent features include a long or short forehead, widow's peak or large nose, mouth or chin. Be sure your stylist takes these features in to consideration before he or she cuts your hair.
2. If your hair has been damaged, do not attempt to fix it yourself; go to an expert. Fortmeyer refers back to a time in cosmetology school when she intentionally experimented on herself discovering how much damage her hair could really take. Within a two month time period she double bleached her own hair, double permed it and as she was pulling her hair through a frosting cap found that her hair had melted right off her scalp. "That's when I learned how to work with wigs," she laughs. She has since made corrective hair color her favorite specialty.
