Performance marketing veteran Matt Bailey has joined technology agency FusePump as a Business Director, responsible for growing the multichannel division and looking after FusePump’s retail clients, including Staples, Marks & Spencer, Chain Reaction Cycles, schuh, notonthehighstreet and Toys R Us.

Having spent four and a half years as part of the founding team at Performance Horizon Group, the digital partner marketing technology business, and doing serious time at a number of digital agencies, Matt brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, skills, contacts and industry gossip.

"I was one of FusePump's first ever clients when I was working with Orange Mobile about 8 years ago, so I've watched the company grow and am now very excited about being part of the next stage in the business and taking it forward."

FusePump, which provides technology and data to help brands and retailers succeed in digital commerce, is delighted to announce the appointment of such a well-known figure in the world of performance marketing.

On his new role, Matt comments: “I was one of FusePump’s first ever clients when I was working with Orange Mobile about 8 years ago, so I’ve watched the company grow and am now very excited about being part of the next stage in the business and taking it forward.”

He is an in-demand speaker at events around the world, including (but not exclusive to) his own wedding in 2012, Liam Murray’s wedding in 2010 (as best man/keynote speaker) and IAB Engage 2013, where he asked a question from the audience to some bloke from Twitter.

A new dad, Manchester City fan, qualified cricket umpire and a former pub quizmaster, Matt looks forward to boring his new colleagues on a wide range of topics.
