The site - located at www.nhmattresses.com - features content with information about the economy, premium, luxury, memory foam and latex mattresses as well as its futons. New Hampshire-based Danconia Media engineered the website using a highly robust, yet user-friendly, content management system (CMS) that can be used to easily add, remove and modify content within moments. Since the CMS is open-source, it lacks the exorbitant licensing and maintenance frees that proprietary solutions carry. At the same time, its capabilities exceed what's offered by commercial applications.

Mattressman plans to build out the site with additional content in the coming months and continually update its web specials. To take advantage of the specials, visitors must print out the online coupons and bring them to Mattressman's physical location.

The business was founded in 2001 by Bob DiPietro and Karen Whiston-DiPietro, both Belmont residents. Prior to the store's opening, Bob DiPietro managed two regional mattress chains, while Karen ran Hearth & Home Furnishings for two decades.
