May 1st is Cosplay at Starbucks Day
On May 1st, visitors and employees at Starbucks will be treated to the very cool and completely geeky world of Anime and Cosplay as thousands of cosplayers show up at 1pm dressed as their favorite Anime character.
Online, April 27, 2010 (Newswire.com) - What started out as bunch of small local groups has quickly become a global phenomena with thousands of participants, and about 100 confirmed locations and times.
One company has recently offered a $200 prize to the "best picture or video" of the event.
A Starbucks, Inc. pr-representative was contacted and said that although she "couldn't promote the event" she would like to remind people to "bring a mug to save 10 cents and reduce waste".
